Description of Duraflex 14 Foot Aluminum Diving Board. With Bolt Kit.

The Duraflex 14-foot diving board and bolt kit is the perfect recreational choice for aquatic facilities that seek the quality of Duraflex products, yet lack the facility dimensions required for competitive diving equipment.

This diving board model has the same features as the 16' Duraflex except length. This board is basically a one piece ribbed extrusion of aluminum alloy 6070-T6, heat treated for a yield strength of 50,000 psi. It has a torsion-box extrusion, an anchor angle, and tip end cap riveted to the basic section. It is tapered from the fulcrum area to the diving tip. Dimensions: 19 5/8 inches wide.

The board is coated in aqua-colored thermal-curing epoxy resin. The top surface is finished with a laminate of flint silica and alumina, between coats of epoxy to affect a slip-resistant surface. The diving board is to be bolted to the diving board stand by 2 carriage bolts 5/8 inches in diameter. (If the stand is a Durafirm stand, use 5/8" x 3-1/2" stainless steel board bolts. The 5-1/2" long plated steel board bolt is the most common size used on non-Durafirm Stands.) The underside ribs of the board are protected from direct contact with the Duraflex metal fulcrum by rubber channels (8) attached to the board with epoxy adhesive.
