Description of Drainsafe Cover Model DS360.

The DS360 is a replacement cover for all 6 1/2" to 8 1/2" round covers. The package includes multiple style and size screws to fit your existing main drain. The DS360 fits, and is certified for, Hayward, Pentair, Sta-Rite, Jacuzzi, and other drains.

The DS360 is an anti-entrapment sucton outlet cover. Overall measurement is 11 inches. This cover is designed to shed hair away from the flow of water, therefore, precluding hair entanglement. It allows no object larger than 3/8 inch to be inserted into the sump below, to which it is mounted. The overall dome design also minimizes entrapment via body or limb.

The DS360 is NSF certified up to 123 gallons per minute at 1.5 fps (open surface area: 27 square inches). It works on dual and single suction drain outlets for swimming pools, wading pools, spas, hot tubs, and whirlpools. Material is UV protected and has superior chemical resistant properties. It is easy to retrofit. The universal vertical or horizontal mounting design allows side wall protection as well as floor protection to all suction fittings. An 8 inch sump as well as a cut-off pipe can be protected.

It is recommended installing proper sumps during original construction as well as in remodeling projects. We recommend this unit be installed as one layer of protection and backed up with a Safety Vacuum Release System certified to ANSI/ASME A112.19.17 Standard.

The DS360 is pool cleaner friendly and allows for ease of brushing and vacuuming during maintenance operations. The open area of 27 square inches allows for water to flow around and under the DS360 as well as through the top domed area for total bottom water turnover.

Tested to the newest ASME/ANSI A112.19.8 (2007). Includes 12 piece stainless steel 316 grade uni-screw fasteners with Security tool. Fits all style and size drain sumps.
