The raised handholds allow easy gripping and strap threading with board flat on the ground. And the tapered end aids with extrication from tight spaces.
Like the Bak-Pak™ II spineboard, the Maxi-Wide is constructed of LLD polyethylene, and its foam-filled interior allows it to float up to 240 lbs.⎯ making it great for water rescues! Accepts virtually all head immobilizers. Straps and Head Immobilizer sold separately.
