It is important to keep your pool water in balance to get the most effective use of your chemicals. Test daily to ensure that pH, total alkalinity, calcium hardness and cyanuric acid (stabilizer) are within the correct levels. Calcium hardness is an integral component of water chemistry. Soft fill water can cause low hardness levels, which leads to the corrosion of pool surfaces and fixtures.
CALCIUM HARDNESS INCREASER - Raises calcium hardness of pool water to aid in the prevention of corrosion, etched plaster and other problems resulting from low calcium hardness. Recommended range is 150-250 ppm. Dosage: Add 1 lb. for every 10,000 gallons of pool water to raise the hardness level 10 ppm.
