High pH results in cloudy water, staining, scale, and filtration problems. Low pH leads to corrosion of metal pipes, etched plaster, rapid loss of chlorine, and irritation to swimmers.

pH DECREASER - A granular product for slowly lowering the pH of pool water. Safer to handle and store than liquid acids. Dosage: When pH is above 7.8, add 1 lb. of decreaser for every 15,000 gallons of water.
