LMI Roytronic Excel Series AD chemical metering pumps are positive displacement, Liquifram type pumps. They are UL/CUL or CE certified. Output volume are adjustable while pumps are in operation from zero to maximum capacity. Digital Advance Features:

Pulse or 4/20 mA signal input controls frequency.
Graphical LCD display; remote on/off signal input.
Frequency is manually adjustable when in local control.
> Pulse multiple/divide functions.
24V output for remote device.
> Dual low level float switch input.

LMI Series AD9 metering pumps have a graphical display to indicate stroke speed of the pump and theoretical flow. Control is selectable between internal and external modes as well as stroke frequency adjustment by means of a tactile keypad. Adjustment for stroke length can be made by a readily accessible dial knob.

The pump has the following control modes: Manual, mA, pulse multiply/batch accumulate, pulse divide and timer. Configuration mode settings allow for specific pump category settings and adjustments. A pulse indicator light flashes green between strokes when pumping in internal mode, and yellow between strokes when pumping in external mode. When in external mode, Series AD9 units accept 4-20 mA input signal or external pulse signal for control of pump speed.

The pump has the capability to support external connection requirements for remote start/stop or pulse divide/multiply options or output for a power supply for remote powered devices. They also have the capability for a digi-pulse or flow meter input or flow meter sensor. The AD Series also can support an external connection for a remote internal/external input or 4-20 mA output or pacing output or alarm output.

This pump is equipped with an on/off button and a dual low level float switch input. When the dual low level sensor registers empty, the low level indicator light turns yellow when a low level is registered and red when an empty level is registered. The pump turns off when it registers an empty level. It is equipped with a universal voltage supply capability.

Drive Assembly. The pump drive is totally enclosed with no exposed moving parts. An electronic pulser is supplied with quick connect terminals at least 0.110 inch wide (2.79 mm). Electronics are housed in a chemical resistant enclosure for maximum protection against chemical spillage. Electrical power consumption does not exceed 25 watts per hour under full speed and maximum pressure conditions.

Pressure Relief. Models with the LMI 4-Function Valve installed on a FastPrime or AutoPrime Liquid End are recommended to provide automatic pressure relief.

Materials of Construction. Chemical metering pump housing is made of chemically resistant glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic. All exposed fasteners are stainless steel. Chemical metering pump valves are ball type. Valves are be serviceable by replacing the cartridge valve assembly.

Check Valve, Tubing, Connections. A total of 16 ft (4.8 m) of tubing is provided per pump complete with compressing connections on models with tubing connections. A foot valve with integral one-piece strainer is also provided for the suction line, and an injection check/back pressure valve with 1/2 inch NPT male connection for the injection point.
