The AED Plus enhances understanding and performance by using well-understood visual concepts. The compression rate and depth sensor provides periodic encouragement via voice prompts; for example, "press harder" or "good compression," depending on compression depth. In addition to audio prompt, the AED Plus features on-screen instructions and a gauge that shows how deep to push in order to optimize compression depth. This is an important advancement, given the 2005 AHA Guidelines.

The AED Plus conveniently uses consumer lithium battery power. The one-piece CPR Padz is the only AED electrode system to simplify proper positioning with visual indicators. Comes with one CPR-D Padz and one sleeve of batteries. Pedi Padz available for use with children (sold separately).
