The Patented DURAPRO Series leaf skimmers and rakes are made with unbreakable plated spring steel frames. The same frame that Skimlite Mfg. has made rakes and skimmers of since 1953. This frame will not corrode, rust or break. Each skimmer comes with a protective replaceable wear guard around the frame. The weight is about half of the stainless steel leaf skimmers and about half the price!

The dimensions on the leaf rakes are 20 ½ inch wide by 10 inch long and have a 4 ½ inch handle. Each pocket is made of one piece heavy-duty (fine mesh) screen that is not sewn. By eliminating the sewn seams you eliminate wear points on the screen. Also, the rake will empty easily and will flow through the water easily without a sewn seam.
