Our Shipping Policy is very simple:
- All orders greater than $50.00 ship for FREE!
- Any orders under $50.00 ship for only $5.95.
Additional charges will be applied for orders:
- Shipped outside of the continental United States to addresses such as Alaska, Hawaii, FPO/APO, International destinations, etc. Please call to determine actual freight costs to these destinations before ordering, as they will be added to your order.
- Freight truck shipments destined for limited access destinations. An additional charge could apply to your order if limited access fees are required by the freight carrier. We will contact you if that is the rare case.
- Freight truck shipments requiring inside or liftgate delivery on a shipment sent by freight truck. These are additional charges that must be requested at the time of ordering.
- Shipments requested to be sent via expedited shipping (Next Day, Second Day, or Third Day small package or expedited freight).
- If an item is cancelled which brings the total order amount below $50.00, an $5.95 handling charge will be added to your order. Orders cannot be canceled, credited, etc after they are processed.
- Additional fees can be charged if the shipping address is incomplete, incorrect, or changed following the shipping of your order.
We will ship in stock items within 24 hours for orders placed Sunday through Friday 1:00 pm EST, excluding holidays. Items not in stock or on backorder will be shipped when the product arrives at our warehouse. Orders containing both items in stock and items not in stock will be held until all items are in stock and can ship together. Orders that have items in different warehouses may be delayed in order to consolidate shipments. To expedite your order, we may have it shipped directly from the manufacturer. It is our policy to process your order according to your specified shipment mode (Ground, Next Day, Second Day, etc.) regardless of its origin.
Should we be unable to ship your ordered items within 24 hours when you have requested an expedited shipping mode (Next Day, Second Day, Three Day), you will be notified by email or telephone using the contact information you provided in your order. We will provide a revised estimated ship date when we contact you. Unless we are notified otherwise, the order will ship per your shipping mode requested on your initial order when it is ready for shipping. As an example, if you have requested Next Day Air and we informed you the order will ship directly from the factory and the factory takes two days to process the order, you will not receive the order until the third day after we have contacted you as described above.
When you purchase an item that requires shipment via freight truck, the product will be shipped with a common carrier F.O.B. Origin. Aquatic Technology will prepay the freight charge for you. Additional fees and services requested at the time of delivery such as inside delivery or lift gate service are the customers responsibility and must be paid to the driver or it will be billed back to you.
Small Package Shipping Policy
Standard ground service takes approximately 3 to 7 business days from the date of your order to arrival at shipping address. Some special orders may take longer. We will use the best carrier depending on the size of your order or origin of your shipment including the United States Postal Service, UPS, Fedex and common carriers.
To quickly and efficiently complete your package delivery, we offer the following suggestions for our residential customers:
- If you are expecting a delivery and you know you won't be home, leave a note for your delivery driver, giving him permission to leave your package at your residence or at a neighbor's home.
- Fedex/USPS/UPS will often leave packages without a signature in a concealed covered area out of street view. Always check outside your home before tracing a shipment.
- Sometimes multiple package shipments become separated and arrive on different days. Always allow an extra 1-2 days in this situation.
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery addresses will always delay a shipment. Please be sure all information is accurate and complete (i.e., always include St., Pl., Ave., etc., in address). If you provide a wrong address which requires us to reship your order, additional charges will apply.
Limited Shipping Areas Policy
Certain product lines can only be shipped to the United States and its territories, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Should your order contain products that have restricted shipping, the product will be removed from your order. All international orders must meet our minuim order amount of $500.00 US.
Freight Shipment Delivery Policy
Heavy items are shipped by freight line. Freight shipments take approximately 7 business days for delivery from date of shipment. Shipments become property of the purchaser upon delivery to the specified shipping agent. Unless specifically requested in writing when the order is placed, Aquatic Technology, Inc. ® will choose the carrier to be used. Freight companies require the customer to provide assistance in offloading shipments. Inside delivery or lift gate charges is not provided in your quoted freight unless documented at time of order. A signature will be required for the merchandise received. We will provide the freight company with your phone number so they may schedule your delivery directly with you.
Any visible or concealed damage must be reported to the trucking company within 3 days. Visible damage should be noted and detailed on the freight truck original bill of lading before signing for the shipment. A call should also be made to us, at this time, so that we can assist you. It is important that you save all the packaging for inspection. If you sign for a damaged package without noting the damage at the time of delivery, the carrier will often not allow the claim. Please make sure you inspect your packages before accepting them. Please refer to Freight Claim Policy for detailed information. Freight charges for products shipped by truck will be calculated at time of shipment. Our shipping policy does not apply to shipments to Alaska, Hawaii or any foreign destination. The shipping and handling cost displayed with this order and printed on your order confirmation is the total that you will be charged. Haz-Mat shipments require special arrangements and charges. Product will be shipped F.O.B. Origin, Freight Prepaid, and Charged Back.
Damaged in Transit
INSPECT YOUR ORDER IMMEDIATELY UPON DELIVERY! You are responsible for the quantity and condition of the shipment you are receiving. Aquatic Technology cannot be held responsible for freight damage, unloading of orders, or delays. If you notice any damage to the packaging or have a question on the quantity received, note it on the freight company original bill of lading and contact Aquatic Technology so we may assist you with your claim. If you find hidden damage after three days, you may not be able to file a freight claim.
Aquatic Technology, Inc. ® will make every effort to help you with your freight claim. It is very important that you inspect and count your shipment.
We make every effort to see that your order is packaged in the best possible manner. First, always inspect your shipment for obvious damage before signing the shipping release. You should request, in the shipper’s presence, to open the box to inspect it for concealed damage. Your order is carefully packed to exceed UPS, FedEx, and USPS shipping requirements.
If the item was shipped UPS, FedEx, or USPS, please call our Customer Service Department within 48 hours at 800-446-6416. We will help process the claim for you.
Please be advised that return fees may apply if damage is not a result of shipping. If an item arrives damaged and was shipped by any other carrier than Fedex/USPS/UPS, you must call the shipper within 48 hours to report damaged goods. After calling the shipper, please call our Customer Service Department so we are aware of the problem.
International Order Shipping
Aquatic Technology and Poolweb.com gladly accepts orders from all around the world. Your packages may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of the country to which you have your order shipped. These charges are always the recipient's responsibility. International orders and orders slated for export also require special handling, additional costs, wire fees and additional documentation. We will contact you with the necessary details to facilitate a timely delivery and proper payment method.
For products shipped internationally, please note that any manufacturer warranty may not be valid; manufacturer service options may not be available; product manuals, instructions and safety warnings may not be in destination country languages; the products (and accompanying materials) may not be designed in accordance with destination country standards, specifications, and labeling requirements; and the products may not conform to destination country voltage and other electrical standards. You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from Aquatic Technology or Poolweb.com, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
International orders may experience one to two week delays prior to leaving our warehouse. When orders shipped internationally reach the destination country, they may be subject to customs clearance procedures which can cause delays beyond original delivery estimates.
