Description
The Little Giant Model APCP-1700 pump is an automatic pool cover pump with a 25 foot cord and pumps 1700 GPH at 1 foot. Automatic pool cover pumps remove standing water from pool covers. They are ideal for household water transfer applications also.The Model APCP-1700 features a removeable intake screen (for easy cleaning and maintenance) and an integrated float switch for reliable automatic operation. It will activate in approximately 2-1/2 inches of water and deactivate when the water level reaches approximately 1 inch. The pump comes equipped with a low energy consumption, permanent-split capacitor (PSC) motor. The motor is mounted in a sealed, stainless steel housing and cooled by the flow of the pumping fluid over the motor housing. A 3/4 inch hose adapter is included.
Pool cover pumps help safeguard and protect the pool cover from prolonged accumulation of rain or melting snow. We offer a variety of pool cover pumps from various manufacturers. Little Giant has manual and automatic versions of pumps certified for use on pool covers, all of which can attach to a standard garden hose for easy water removal.
