My Air Relief Assembly (CXRLV1001) is leaking through the nose. Is the a way to safely dis-assemble it and try to fix it?Zev asked on 09-13-17

Turn the pool pump off and remove the valve from the filter. The manufacture does not make any parts available for this item, so repairs will be impossible. You will need to purchase a new air relief assembly.
How May We Help?
Air Relief Assembly With O-Ring
This is a Hayward Replacement Air Relief Valve for filters such as the Swimclear Cartridge Filter.
Ordered air relief assembly w/ O-ring. Part came quick but with no O-ring in sealed part packet. I responded to Poolweb's inquiry about order. They sent out 2nd relief assembly -this time with O-ring. Very quick response. I was impressed that they didn't just send missing O-ring. Now I have spare assembly. I will definitely use Poolweb again !!!
Pros: easy to install/change out
Cons: The issue seemed to be the assembly, not the O-ring. I'm still not sure why the valve leaks. Perhaps the plastic cracked. I prefer the older style, simpler type.
