Illinois Swimming Pool Rules and Regulations 

Regulations for the State of Illinois for commercial swimming pools dictates the required safety equipment, pool rules signs, safety signs as well as various other traditional construction and safety regulations related to swimming pools.

Notes: Section 820.360 of the Illinois Admin Code lists express rules and instructions for pool patrons which we have outlined in the Illinois Pool Rules. These rules are required to be posted at the entrance to the facility and adjacent to the swimming facility. At facilities where lifeguards are not provided, the Illinois No Lifeguard sign shall be posted.
