Description
This is a 1 pound bag of chlorine free oxidizing shock with added clarifiers, buffers and stain preventatives. This potassium monopersulfate product is a dry granular that reacts quickly to improve sparkle and help prevent pH bounce. It also provides useful oxidation preventing the formation of combined chlorine. Potassium monopersulfate is a disinfectant that restores water clarity and allows swimming within 15 minutes of use.Active Ingredient of this Complete Oxidizing Shock: 75% Potassium Monopersulfate and 25% Proprietary Ingredients.
Directions for Adding Complete Oxidizing Shock to your Pool:
For initial use, check and adjust pH between 7.2 and 7.6 and total alkalinity (800-120 ppm) prior to application. Add this product when no bathers are present. Wearing gloves and goggles, broadcast product directly to pool surface with pump running, adding 2 pounds per 10,000 gallons of pool water. Continuously circulate for 8 hours after application. For weekly maintenance, add 1 pound per 10,000 gallons of pool water. Swimming may resume after 15 minutes of application.
Continued use of Complete Oxidizing Shock will result in easier water balance, softer water and scale prevention. This product is safe for all pool surfaces and is compatible with chlorine, bromine, ozone, UV and mineral sanitizing systems.
