Description
This Waterco HRV Fiberglass 24 Inch Side Mount Sand Filter has 2 inch bulkhead connections, 58 psi, and is NSF approved. The Waterco HRV sand filters are manufacturer with high grade fiberglass and the latest in fiberglass winding technology. The HRV filters are constructed from anti-corrosive, nontoxic materials and are engineered to withstand the high flow and pressures of today's aquatic facilities. The 24 inch HRV filter is ideal for pools no longer than 22,680 gallons.The HRV filters feature an 8-lateral exclusive "fishtail" lateral underdrain system for optimal backwashing and filtering performance. The laterals are hydraulically balanced to maximize water flow and filtration The filter also have inflow diffuser for even distribution of water flow across the filter bed.
The HRV filters include a pressure gauge and a large filter base for stable floor mounting. The six-position multiport valve (#2290590P) for the HRV filters is not included (sold separately). The tank has a 10 year warranty and there is a one year warranty on parts.
Waterco fiberglass filters are designed to work with water at a temperature greater than 32 degrees F and less than 122 degrees F. The filter should never be operated outside of these temperatures or damage may occur.
The HRV filters are extremely durable and will give you years of clean pool water. The filters will clean out everything larger than 3 - 40 microns. Sand filters still remain the most popular choice on the market for their durability and simplicity in maintenance.
