Description
This is a 25 pound pail of highly concentrated chlorine granules for super-chlorination and algae treatments. This calcium hypochlorite and boric acid mixture contains exclusive technology and is in the form of concentrated granules. Calcium hypochlorite kills bacteria and algae in swimming pools.Active Ingredient of the DuraChlor Ultra Shock Plus: 40-50% Calcium Hypochlorite and 10-20% Boric Acid.
Directions for Adding DuraChlor Ultra Shock Plus to Your Swimming Pool:
Before shocking, adjust pH between 7.2 and 7.4. At night or when the pool is not in use, add 8 ounces of this product to every 5,000 gallons of water using the broadcast method. Maintain operation of your pump and filter. Do not enter the pool until the free chlorine residual has dropped to 3.0 ppm or less as measured using your test kit.
