Notes: Texas TAX Title 25 has fixed verbiage for their spa signage which includes a sign regarding temperature in 1 inch lettering height and a sign regarding children using the spa in 2 inch lettering height (See No Lifeguard on Duty sign). No Diving, Nearest Telephone and Maximum Capacity are also required signs. Pool Rules and Spa Rules signs are available in both English and Spanish which is required if that is the predominant language.

POST 10/1/99: On wall and deck.​ Placed at 2 FT increments of depth in shallow and deep ends, uniformly installed. Not greater than 25-foot intervals, with minimum of at least 1 marker per pool side. At maximum and minimum depths and at 5 ft. depth. FEET AND INCHES (spelled out) or abbreviated IN FT. Non-skid on deck. NO DIVING AND INTERNATIONAL SYMBOL. 4” on deck.

On Post Pools, every 25 ft. around the pool where depth is 6 ft. or less. At least 2 warnings (both) shall be provided at extreme ends of minimum depth and at extreme ends of maximum depth at 6 ft. on each side of pool. Slip resistant. Posted within 24” of water edge.

PRE 10/1/99: On wall and deck. Placed at 2 FT increments around the pool and at maximum and minimum points depths, and point of slope change. (If replastered and depth markers replaced, must comply with POST requirements.)
