Product Information
Description
This is a Hayward Propane Gas Valve Kit replacement designed for the Universal H-Series forced-draft pool heaters. It carries the 24 VAC coil, ON/OFF knob, capped regulator adjustment screw, and the inlet and manifold pressure taps that meter LP gas to the burner tray.
This part number replaces FDXLGSV0002. It is designed for the Universal H-Series models H150FDP-H400FDP. It does not fit H500FDP, which uses part FDXLGSV1500P.
You can replace the valve when the heater will not light, drops out under load, or cannot hold manifold pressure in the 6.8 to 7.0 inches of water column range.
