Description
The Little Giant Model 1-AA18 pump is a small oil-filled (motor housing) pool cover and utility pump with an 18 foot cord and pumps 170 GPH. The pump is designed for non-potable submersible use and continuous operation. Accumulated water can equal too much weight on your cover, which can damage your cover and your pool. This model is for submersible use only.The Model 1-A Series has an epoxy coated die-cast aluminum housing and an oil filled motor housing. This means the motor housing is filled with a dielectric lubricant at the factory for optimum motor heat transfer and lifetime lubrication of the bearings. It has a 7 foot maximum lift and a 1/4 inch MNPT discharge. This pump must be run submerged. The pump should be placed with the screen as a base.
Pool cover pumps help safeguard and protect the pool cover from prolonged accumulation of rain or melting snow. We offer a variety of pool cover pumps from various manufacturers. Little Giant has manual and automatic versions of pumps certified for use on pool covers.
