The commercial Model 72-IV Speck Pump is 1-1/2 HP, 208-230/460 Volts 60 Hz, 3-Phase, and Energy Efficient. These pumps include 3 and 2 inch quick disconnect unions for easy installation. The Model 72 high performance pool pumps feature pump parts made of 100% recyclable plastic for a non-corrosive, chemical resistant pump. The Model 72 is ideal for pools with a salt concentration of up to 5000 ppm and it can withstand temperatures up to 175 degrees F.

The commercial Model 72 pumps are 3-phase and require a motor starter (item #B9V24AXR61). They have a heavy-duty "1081" E-Plus/Extreme-E energy efficient motor for extra low energy consumption. This large 56 frame motor is thermally protected, has a PSC switchless design and extra large sealed ball bearings. Plus, the motor is easy to remove without disturbing the plumbing and has reusable o-rings throughout the pump.

The Model 72 high flow pumps come complete with Speck's unique mechanical shaft seal that allows the pump, if mistreated, to run dry for up to one hour. Other features of the Model 72 pumps include a specially constructed clear lid with ring lock design which is easy to open on the large strainer baskets. The lock ring incorporates handles to provide the user with a convenient way to easily remove the lid. And for your safety, the impeller has a dielectric shaft sleeve that provide absolute separation between pool water and electric parts.
