M-1 Universal Adhesive and Sealant - 10.1 Oz.

Description

This is a 10.1-ounce cartridge of ChemLink M-1, a moisture-curing, multipurpose structural adhesive and sealant engineered to bond and seal a wide variety of materials with strength and reliability. It is perfect for applications where joint movement requires more than 35% compression and extension. M-1 does not shrink and is solvent-free and non-toxic. Because it is moisture-curing, you can use it in the rain or on leaking pools. It is also non-slump, so that it can be applied vertically and overhead.

Available in a variety of colors, ChemLink M-1 will not discolor when exposed to UV light. This sealant has a 20-minute skin-over time and is paintable after 24 hours. It can be applied in temperatures as low as 32 degrees F. It also provides continuous service at 200 degrees F.

When working with the sealant, bonding surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from any contamination that may inhibit performance. Isopropyl alcohol is an effective cleaner for surface preparation. Install all joint applications in accordance with ASTM and SWRI recommendations and guidelines. Maintain sealant at room temperature before application to ensure adequate tooling and adhesion. Its excellent adhesion to clean masonry or concrete allows it to be installed without a primer in most joints smaller than 1/2 inch wide. Eliminating masking tape and tooling results in a significant reduction in labor.
