NovaLink 35 Joint Sealant - 10.1 Oz.

Description

The 10.1-ounce cartridge of ChemLink NovaLink 35 is an all-purpose, moisture-cure sealant that cures in damp, dry, or cold climates down to 30 degrees F. It is perfect for applications where joint movement requires more than 35% compression and extension. It adheres to most construction materials and is available in a variety of colors. NovaLink 35 will not discolor when exposed to UV light. This sealant has a 40-minute skin-over time, is non-toxic, paintable after 24 hours, and has very low odor.

NovaLink 35 is designed for use with a variety of materials, including concrete, glass, metal, and most roofing materials. NovaLink 35 seals expansion joints, flashings, windows, doors, and roofing joints. It is solvent free100% solids, and will not shrink or discolor. When working with the sealant, bonding surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from any contamination that may inhibit performance. Isopropyl alcohol is an effective cleaner for surface preparation.

Install all joint applications in accordance with ASTM and SWRI recommendations and guidelines. Maintain sealant at room temperature before application to ensure adequate tooling and adhesion. Its excellent adhesion to clean masonry or concrete allows it to be installed without a primer in most joints smaller than 1/2 inch wide. Eliminating masking tape and tooling results in a significant reduction in labor.
