Missouri Swimming Pool Rules and Regulations
Regulations for the State of Missouri for commercial swimming pools dictates the required safety equipment, pool rules signs, safety signs as well as various other traditional construction and safety regulations related to swimming pools.

Notes: | Missouri requires pool owners post pool rules and instructions in a conspicuous place. Most commercial swimming pool rules signs will comply with the Missouri rules as long as they incorporate all common safety and health regulations required for swimming pools. |

Safety Equipment Notes
- Shepherds Crook 1 Unit required per 2000 sq ft.
- Ring Buoys 18" Life Ring Buoy Required. 1 Unit required per 2000 sq ft.
- Throw Line 1/4” in diameter, 1.5x width of pool or 50 feet, whichever is less.
- Depth Markers At change in bottom slope, spaced not more than 25 ft. apart, intervals measured peripherally. Markings on both sides of pool. FEET OR FT. INCHES OR IN. AND METERS. WADING POOLS: Maximum Depth Marker required.
- Rope & Float Line Safety rope and floats (with float keepers) and contrasting line drawn between shallow and deep ends.
- Gloves If pool staffed by lifeguard.
- Spineboard If pool staffed by lifeguard.
