Description
This is the Power Defender PD-140 Variable Speed pump by Waterway Plastics with 1.40 THP, 2 inch connections, and 115/230 Dual Voltage. This model lines up with both Hayward Super Pumps and Pentair Intelliflo Pumps. The PD-140 changes from 230 volts to 115 volts at the flip of a switch! And there is no drop in horsepower at either voltage.The Power Defender PD-140 is a high-performance and ultra-quiet variable speed pool pump that provides optional energy savings. It has an automatic freeze protection feature. It is designed with silicon carbide Viton shaft seals which provide superior wear and chemical resistance.
The PD-140 pump is DOE and CEC compliant. This model Power Defender includes two self-aligning pump unions. It also includes a base for the Intelliflo should you need it.
