Regulations for the State of Rhode Island for commercial swimming pools dictates the required safety equipment, pool rules signs, safety signs as well as various other traditional construction and safety regulations related to swimming pools.

Notes: | The Rhode Island Title 23-22 and 216-RICR-50-50-4.6.6 lists detailed written policies that must be included in the posted Rhode Island Pool Rules and Spa Rules signs, as well as the No Lifeguard sign, where applicable. The No Lifeguard sign has specific wording in 4 inch lettering and added pool information as required by Rhode Island code. |

Safety Equipment Notes
- Ring Buoys Two 18" Life Ring Buoy Required.
- Depth Markers Spaced at 1 ft. depth intervals where water is less than 5 ft. Water at deepest portion of pool must also be indicated. Non-slip deck.
- Rope & Float Line Lifeline w/colored floats across pool dividing deep end, at least 2 ft. on shallow end of break.
