Description
This Badu EcoM3V variable speed pump has a total horsepower of 1.65, 208-230 volts and is equipped with 2 inch quick disconnect unions for easy installation. The Badu EcoM3V pumps feature the V-Green 165 variable speed motor by Century. This salt water friendly pump also features an all plastic design, three variable speeds, and premium energy efficiency. This high performance, self-priming pool pump is designed for small commercial and large residential pools and spas.The V-Green 165 motor from Century is a premium efficiency, variable speed motor that provides tremendous flexibility in motor speed and time settings. The motor/control is a programmable, high efficiency TEFC (totally enclosed fan cooled) pool pump motor designed to be an easy, drop-in field replacement that can be wired with minimal or no modifications. Each motor comes with a built-in easy to use controller with LCD display.
The V-Green 165 variable speed motors offer three variable speeds, programmable from 600 to 3450 RPM. The speeds are adjusted in increments of 25 RPMs. And the V-Green 165 has a user interface key lockout feature to prevent unwanted changes to the settings.
The Badu EcoM3V pool pump comes with Speck's unique mechanical shaft seal that allows the pump, if mistreated, to run dry for up to one hour. The EcoM3V is also salt water friendly. The pump can be used for pool water with a salt concentration of up to 5000 ppm. This pump is also non-corrosive and chemical and UV resistant. It can withstand temperatures of up to 175 degrees F. And for pool users' safety, the impeller has a dielectric shaft sleeve that provides absolute separation between the pool water and electric parts.
The pump design has been engineered for incredible durability, superior performance, and quiet operation. The Badu EcoM3V is energy efficient yet powerful enough to operate on a variety of swimming pool sizes.
