Delaware Swimming Pool Rules and Regulations

Delaware’s Title 16 4464 Health and Safety Code requires pool owners to post a "No Lifeguard on Duty" sign to inform swimmers that there is no designated individual responsible for supervising the pool. This sign must include specific wording that makes it clear that any person under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. In addition, Delaware's Pool Rules sign outlines basic health and safety requirements for swimming pools.

If you're a commercial pool operator in Delaware, it's your responsibility to make sure that the equipment at your facility is up to code. Some of the equipment that you may need include a pole, shepherd's hook, and a ring buoy - don't let yourself get caught without these vital safety tools!
