Oklahoma Swimming Pool Rules and Regulations
Regulations for the State of Oklahoma for commercial swimming pools dictates the required safety equipment, pool rules signs, safety signs as well as various other traditional construction and safety regulations related to swimming pools.

Notes: | The Oklahoma OAC Chapter 320 outlines rules and precautions for patrons which are incorporated in the Oklahoma Pool Rules sign. Oklahoma’s No Lifeguard sign is unique to the state. This state requires a 16 foot rescue pole (as opposed to a 12 foot). |

- Rescue Pole 16' Required
- Ring Buoys Two 18" Life Ring Buoys Required
- Throw Line 30' throw line required.
- Depth Markers At maximum and minimum points, at points of break between deep and shallow portions, and at intermediate 1 ft. increments of depth n the shallow end up to breakpoint, and at 2 ft. increments of depth from breakpoint to deep end wall, spaced not more than 25 ft. intervals ,and at 2 ft. increments of depth with minimum of 3 markers per pool throughout length of nondiving pools with uniform bottom slope. - Rope & Float Line Between shallow and deep portions with colored floats spread on 5 ft. centers. 3/4 in. minimum diameter
- Spineboard If pool at least 30 feet horizontal.
