Description
This is a 14 inch VGBA Square Anti-Entrapment Suction Outlet Cover for 9 inch square retrofits or new construction. This is a 914 universal high-flow cover that retrofits over all sumps and frames up to 13 inches using the brass anchor kit sold separately (BIK4). This cover includes a 9 inch square mud frame 3/4 inch deep. It also comes with one 1 inch deep adapter and one 3/4 inch deep adapter.The 914 Universal Cover fits AquaStar standard and retrofit 9 inch models, American Pentair, Custom Molded Products, Hayward, and Waterway 9 inch main drains with 3/4 or 1 inch deep existing frames. The retrofit adapter frame easily and safely retrofits most brands' existing 9 inch mud frames.
The AquaStar Universal anti-entrapment cover is manufactured from superior UV-resistant engineered polymers. They include 316 stainless steel screws. They are Certified, Listed, and Labeled in conformance with APSP/ANSI/ICC-16 2017 and NSF/ANSI/CAN 50 standards. This is an update of the 2008 VGB certification. The Trademarked VGBA compliance button easily identifies this VGBA 2017 complaint cover from on deck and underwater.
The AquaStar VGBA Series of Anti-Entrapment Suction Outlets and Drains are compliant with the Virginia Graeme-Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act (ASME/ANSI A112.19.8-2007). Main drains should be replaced every five years. AquaStar offers online support with downloadable CAD files, Certificates, Installation, and more.
