Combat 60 - Concentrated Algaecide - 1 Quart

Description

This is a 1 quart bottle of Combat 60 which contains a concentrated formula that destroys algae and prevents it from starting. This concentrated liquid formula is not affected by high chlorine residues and may reduce the amount of chemicals needed. Combat 60 is compatible with all pool and spa types.

Active Ingredient of the Combat 60: 60% Pol (oxyethylene (dimethyliminio) ethylene (Dimethyliminio)-ethylene dichloride), 40% Other Ingredients.

Directions for Adding Combat 60 to Your Pool (With Visible Growth):

Add 11 to 17 fluid ounces per 10,000 gallons of water directly to the pool with the pool pump running. For heavy algae growth, pool must be vacuumed prior. If the pool is properly equipped, the vacuumed algae growth must be vacuumed directly out of the pool to waste. Pool use may resume 15 minutes after application.

Directions for Adding Combat 60 to Your Pool for Off-Season Winter Treatment: Adjust pH of pool water to ideal range of 7.4-7.6. In pools sanitized by chlorine, adjust stabilizer levels to 30-50 ppm. Maintain available chlorine levels in the range of 1-3 ppm. Once balanced and free of visible algae, add 6 to 10 fluid ounces of Combat 60 per 10,000 gallons of water directly to the pool. Add this product with the pump running before draining to desired winter levels and placing winter cover. It is necessary that a uniform distribution of this product be spread throughout the pool for maximum effectiveness. If pool is not covered, it may be necessary to repeat the treatment additional times during the season.

Note: NEVER mix different products together in the same bottle or pail. Always add this product directly to the water with the pool pump running. Clean the filter as necessary following the manufacturer's instructions for backwashing using a filter cleaning solution. Adjust pH to ideal range of 7.4-7.6. Maintain available chlorine levels in the range of 1-3 ppm.
