Advantages of DPD Test Kits

DPD Test Kits test for the level of disinfectant present (free chlorine) in your pool water with a high degree of accuracy. Many of the kits include tests for pH and other factors.

Professional Color-Matching Kits

Many test kits designed for professionals use the color-matching or drop-count titrations for straightforward answers. These kits typically use 2 ounce or tablet reagents and cover a variety of factors.

Ideal Chlorine and pH Levels

A good chlorine level is between 1.0 and 4.0 ppm (parts per million) while the pH should be between 7.2 and 7.8 ppm.

Product Information

This is a LaMotte Pool Manager’s Tablet Series Test Kit that utilizes the precise Octa-Slide 2 comparator system to comply with regulatory standards. Designed for pool professionals, this rugged kit tests for Total and Free Chlorine, pH, Total Alkalinity, Calcium Hardness, Acid Demand, and Cyanuric Acid. The kit includes two Octa-Slide color bars with 8 translucent color standards for Chlorine and pH.

The Pool Manager Tablet Series titrations for Alkalinity and Hardness use a single tablet added to a test sample to develop a color. Sample water is added until an endpoint color change occurs. Results are read directly from the vial in ppm. With the Cyanuric Acid test tablets, a cloudy precipitate develops and results are measured by the disappearing dot method.

A 50-page reference manual for entry level lifeguards and service personnel is included with information on water balance, sanitizers, dosage charts, and testing. The Pool Manager series also includes diagrammed instructions and saturation index calculator in a tough, blow-molded carrying case.
