Description
The Velocity Long Reach Single-Post Rear Mount Starting Platform with TrueTread and Track Start is created for competitive aquatic facilities with a large gutter or other unique configurations that require a longer reach. This long-reach platform has an anchor setback of 33 to 40 inches. It utilizes the Rock Solid Single-Post Anchor, which is sold separately (#27-107).
This Velocity Long Reach platform features a Track Start wedge, which is designed to help swimmers generate maximum take-off power and achieve the advanced, race-ready stance favored in elite competitions. The Velocity platforms also feature a fiberglass footboard that has outstanding strength, a sleek design, and a high-tech appearance. The frames are constructed of commercial-grade stainless steel and then powder-coated for extra protection. In addition, the TrueTread surface provides a secure, high-traction footing for swimmers, even in wet conditions.
The Velocity Long Reach is compatible with both Colorado and Daktronics timing systems. The platforms meet FINA, NCAA, NFSH, and USMS competition rules and guidelines. They are great for championship venues, training centers, and collegiate programs looking to upgrade their current platforms and prepare for future competitions.
