The Velocity Dual-Post Side Mount Starting Platform with Track Start and TrueTread is engineered for first-class, competitive aquatic facilities that demand pro-level performance and durability. Its rigid dual-post side-mount design minimizes flex for more powerful, consistent starts, while the integrated track start wedge supports modern starting techniques and faster reaction off the block. The Track Start feature supports a powerful, track‑style stance, allowing athletes to optimize their body position and reaction off the platform. It has 5 positions and will tuck under the footboard, out of the way.
The Velocity features a fiberglass footboard that has outstanding strength, a sleek design, and a high-tech appearance. The frames are constructed of commercial-grade stainless steel and then powder-coated for extra durability. Add the TrueTread surface for a secure, high-traction footing for swimmers, even in wet conditions.
The Velocity dual-post is compatible with both Colorado and Daktronics timing systems. The platforms meet FINA, NCAA, NFSH, and USMS competition rules and guidelines. This starting platform is ideal for championship venues, training centers, and collegiate programs looking to build or upgrade their competition pool.
