Wisconsin Swimming Pool Rules and Regulations
Regulations for the State of Wisconsin for commercial swimming pools dictates the required safety equipment, pool rules signs, safety signs as well as various other traditional construction and safety regulations related to swimming pools.

Notes: | Wisconsin Pool Rules are to be a lettering height of 1 inch and are word specific as per ATCP76.29. Two versions of the rules are available depending if you have an approved diving pool or not. The Wisconsin Spa Rules sign also is in 1 inch lettering height and rules are in accordance with the code. |

Safety Equipment Notes
- Rescue Pole 12' Required
- Ring Buoy 20" Life Ring Buoy Required
- Throw Line 1.5x maximum pool width or 50 feet, whichever is less. 1/4" in diameter.
- Depth Markers At maximum and minimum points, at points of change in slope and at equal intermediate intervals of 25 ft. or less, and all points of entry. 4 Inch lettering required. Feet and Inch may be abbreviated FT or IN.NO DIVING marked in 4 inch lettering in areas where prohibited and are to include International Symbol.
- Rope & Float Line For water depth, the rope and float line shall be located one foot toward the shallow end for each location where the purpose of the rope and float line is to mark a depth change.
- Lifeguard Apparel If applicable, lifeguards must wear appropriate attire.
- Rescue Blankets 2 durable rescue blankets required.
