The Fibalon Filter Minions 8 Pouch Bag is for both cartridge and sand pool filters. They are densely woven poly fiber balls that contain a patented formula which restricts organism growth of trapped swimming pool particles. The Filter Minions are designed to filter more water faster because of the large surface area of the balls. They start filtering at 10 microns and end up at 4 microns as debris collects. And the filter minions last 3-5 seasons depending on usage. These Filter Minions come in 8 pouches that are roped together to form a single unit. The pouches hold the filter balls for more sanitized and stabilized handling.

Each filter minion traps pool and spa crud to its core. The patented silver ion charged fibers restrict algae and bacteria growth. You will clean the filter pouches far less often because of the amount of crud each minion ball traps. In many cases, you can clean them once a year or longer. Simply pull and rinse with a garden hose. Use powdered dishwasher granules to cut out abundant amounts of suntan lotions or oils, if needed. There is no need to backwash because each ball holds so much crud in its core. Only clean when the crystal clear water quality drops.
