The Hayward HeatPro MCHX Series 140,000 BTU Heat Pump features microchannel heat exchanger technology that gets inground pool water temperature perfect. This is an industry-first utilization of the microchannel technology on pool heat pumps. This technology provides more versatility and energy efficiency, yet it is more affordable over time.The HeatPro MCHX Series has improved heating in cool weather. The patent pending defrost algorithm provides improved heating capacity at 50 degrees F and below so you can extend your swim season. The Series has a robust coil structure that protects against fin damage during installation and outdoor impacts. On top of that, these heat pumps utilize a TCP coating that was developed by Naval Air Command for durability in the harshest of climates!
The HeatPro MCHX Series has a weight reduction of up to 50% lighter than traditional tube and fin pool heaters. And it last longer because there is less performance degradation. The Series has less complexity with an 85% reduction in braze joints which mean less leak opportunities.
