Product Description
The Ferno Universal Head Immobilizer (Model 445) is a lightweight,, cushioned immobilizer designed to securely stabilize a patient's head during transport in emergencies. It has a universal base plate compatible with all Ferno backboards, except the NAJO Sports Board, and other manufacturer spineboards.
The Ferno immobilizer features two plastic-coated, closed-cell foam head supports designed with ear holes, an attachment base, and two head straps. Its waterproof coating ensures easy cleaning, it is resistant to blood and bodily fluids, and it boasts an FMVSS 302 flammability rating. The waterproof plastic coating makes it easy to prevent bacterial growth within the components. Additionally, the Universal Head Immobilizer allows patients to undergo X-ray, MRI, or CT scans without obstruction.
